How do I wash vinyl siding?
If you want to do this yourself, without power washing, vinyl siding can be washed with a soft cloth or ordinary long-handle, soft bristle brush. Try to use only a soft bristle brush on textured surfaces, to prevent smearing stains into the grooves of the siding’s texture. To avoid the running down streaks on your home from the soap and water during cleaning, start at the bottom of the house then work up. Keep in mind to rinse the cleaning solution with water before it dries and stains. Cover brick facing, if your home carries it, so that the brick so is not affected by the runoff.
